Built with an open concept chalet theme, the cottage is perched 20' above the lake with a commanding view from the front deck. A fire pit just to the right of the cottage is a great place for evening campfires for your family or group. The grounds are well maintained as is the interior. The 3 bedrooms accommodate 2 families well.

The Blue Grotto Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, dishwasher, sauna, very large central family room with wood-burning fireplace. Kitchen has all the modern conveniences, including dishwasher and coffee maker, and all the kitchen utensils you will require.


A short wood-stair walkdown to the lake leads to a broad 500sqft dock with a sauna perfectly positioned for morning or evening sauna-swims. A small beach is perfect for young family fun, and a sandy gradual entrance to the lake makes it safe for youngsters to swim. Swimming off the dock is into deep and weed free clear, clean water.

Entrance to the cottage is off a private well maintained gravel road that is maintained year round. A long tree lined lane borders leads to a green automatically watered lawn and gardens. Parking area features parking for 4 cars on the property, with additional parking at the rear of the property.

Boat across Baxter lake to the Trent Severn system notably to Little Go Home Bay and Gloucester Pool. A small fishing boat with an 8 hp motor is available for $200 weekly rental. Enjoy the sauna and swimming, hiking or golf at nearby Bon-Aire in the spring, summer or fall, or enjoy snowmobiling, tobogganing, snow-shoe down hill or cross country skiing in the winter. Explore the waterfalls and rapids and large tracts of forest that adjoin the cottage property. This is bona fide cottage country.
